KaamWala – Account Deletion Request

KaamWala respects your privacy and gives you the right to request permanent deletion of your KaamWala account and associated personal data.

If you no longer want to use KaamWala, you can request deletion of your Customer or Worker account by following the instructions below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your KaamWala account, send an email to:

Please use the following email subject:

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your registered KaamWala email address
  • Your account type: Customer or Worker
  • Your name as shown in the KaamWala app
  • A clear statement that you want your KaamWala account permanently deleted

For account security and to prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before processing your request.

Request Account Deletion from the KaamWala App

KaamWala users can also access the account deletion request option from within the application.

Open:

KaamWala → Account Settings → Delete Account

Select the Delete Account option and follow the instructions provided. The app may direct you to this account deletion page so that you can submit your deletion request.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your account ownership has been verified and your deletion request has been processed, the following account-associated data will be deleted, where applicable:

  • Your KaamWala account
  • Your registered email address and account information
  • Your Customer or Worker profile
  • Your name and profile details
  • Your city, area and service information
  • Your profile photo
  • Your cover or banner image
  • Your worker service posts
  • Images uploaded with your service posts
  • Your worker verification information
  • Identity or verification documents submitted through KaamWala
  • Account-associated chat and messaging data, where applicable
  • Ratings, reviews or other account-associated information, where applicable
  • Other personal data directly associated with your KaamWala account

Data That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, KaamWala may retain certain information when reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.

Any information retained for these purposes will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

How Long Does Account Deletion Take?

We aim to review and process verified account deletion requests within 7 business days.

Some requests may take longer if additional account verification is required or if limited information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or similar legitimate purposes.

Important Information Before Deleting Your Account

  • Account deletion is intended to be permanent.
  • After your account is deleted, you may no longer be able to access your KaamWala account.
  • Your profile and associated account data may no longer be recoverable after deletion.
  • Please save any information you need before submitting your deletion request.
  • Uninstalling or deleting the KaamWala app from your phone does not automatically delete your KaamWala account.
  • You must submit an account deletion request using the process described on this page or through the Delete Account option in the KaamWala app.

Account Deletion Verification

To protect users from unauthorized account deletion, we may verify that the deletion request was submitted by the owner of the KaamWala account.

We will never ask you to send your KaamWala password by email.
